After breeding their mares to him for several years, the Moodys purchased Hollyshinin "Shiner" in 2015. Being a grandson of both Hollywood Dun It and Shining Spark and 83% Foundation Quarter Horse, Shiner produced stunning foals with keen intelligence, an innate drive for success, and a level of athleticism that makes them ideal NRHA and NRCHA Futurity prospects.

Shiner was a very experienced stallion. He was turned out with his mares from the first of February until the middle of July, during which time he settled 100% of his band of about 14 mares. He ran his girls as a very tight group, but he was more than willing to be approached, handled, haltered, and led off in and from the pasture. He exhibited the gentle, willing personality that he passed on to his sons and daughters.​
